flexicover.co.uk Return Policy?
Flexicover.co.uk is a travel insurance provider and does not have a traditional return policy or shipping policy. However, they do have a policy for cancellation. If a customer or a person insured on the policy and travelling with them tests positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the trip being due to start and are required to self-isolate, the policy provides cover for cancellation. It also covers cancellation in the event of the death or hospitalisation of the customer, a family member, a travelling companion, or someone the customer is planning to stay with. The cost of medical expenses and repatriation in the event that the customer contracts coronavirus during the trip is also covered. If the customer has purchased the specialist COVID-19 optional extension, additional coronavirus cover is provided. This includes cancellation within 14 days of the start of the trip if the customer, a travelling companion, or the person they’re staying with are required to self-isolate due to COVID-19. It also covers missed departure on the return journey if the customer misses their pre-booked transportation whilst abroad because they, a travelling companion, or a person that they are staying with test positive for COVID-19 and this necessitates their self-isolation as mandated. It also covers missed departure on the return journey if the hotel the customer has pre-booked to stay in is put in compulsory quarantine by a medical practitioner or government body due to COVID-19. It also provides cover for mandatory quarantine accommodation in the event that the UK Government unexpectedly changes the COVID-19 quarantine requirements applying to the customer's destination, impacting their entry back into the UK. It also provides extended cover for medical expenses and repatriation for a diagnosis of COVID-19 if the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advise against all but essential travel to the customer's planned destination due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the customer has travelled against the advisory. This does not apply to countries on the UK government’s Red List.
